TIRANA, June 21 /ATA/ – The Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Evis Kushi notified via a video-message on Monday all candidates who wish to work as teachers that they can apply via the web-based Teachers for Albania portal until June 30, 2021.
Education Minister announced a series of innovations this year through the new Instruction no. 12, regarding teacher appointment procedures. These changes are announced in response to constant demands.
“In addition to first time applicants, teachers already part of the education system are entitled to apply for transfer and new vacancies that could be created during school year. However, regardless of the exam result, the teacher has the right to maintain the current job position,” Kushi said.
Secondly, she emphasized that “as a result of the continued demand by the teachers unions, we have included the evaluation the seniority of teaching work, as part of the file, both for the parallel movement at the end of the year, and for the applicants on the portal, thus giving more weight to your experience and contribution.”
Emphasizing that the evaluation of the portal is undoubtedly based on meritocracy and transparency, Minister Kushi calls on them to apply to the “Teachers for Albania” Portal.
