TIRANA, June 20 /ATA/ Other than the demolition of unauthorized constructions, which have occupied the public spaces in Saranda, the National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection is working to clear the territory from the debris.
NITP shared images on Sunday from the demolition of a building in Ksamil, but also from the operation that is being carried out in some spots of the coastal city of Saranda to remove the debris after the demolition.
Operation “Our Coast” started on June 7 from Velipoja and Ksamili and aims to raze to the ground all illegal constructions, initially in the entire coastal area.
Yesterday, the operation continued with the demolition of illegal constructions in Cape Rodon, Durrës.
After the cleanup of the coastal zone, the operation will move ahead with demolition of unauthorized constructions in protected areas and along the road axes.
