TIRANA, June 15/ATA/ The Chairman of the National Council of the Democratic Party Bujar Nishani described the current situation of the Democratic Party as the worst that the Democratic Party has experienced since its founding, 30 years ago.
In a television interview, Nishani said that there is a high potential risk that the Democratic Party will lose in the next elections, too.
“Today, the Democratic Party suffers a decline in its relations with the citizens. The DP today is in a worse situation than ever in its entire 30-year history since its foundation. When has it ever happened that the DP has been in opposition for three consecutive terms and with a high potential risk of losing in the next elections, whatever they are and whenever they take place”, said Nishani.
On Sunday, the DP re-elected its party chairman Lulzim Basha for a third term. /m.m/j.p/p.s./
