TIRANA, June 9 /ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Group Edmond Stojku stated today in the Parliament that the President has seriously violated the Constitution.
In his speech, Stojku called on the MPs to vote for Meta’s dismissal.
“The reason for setting up of the Commission of Inquiry was the president committing serious, flagrant and repeated violations of the Constitution. This is related to the period before and after the election campaign, as well as the day of election silence during which he has committed several acts that constitute serious violations of the Constitution. These acts have become the cause of political divisions and have not served the interest of the people. I call to you to approve the report and vote for the dismissal of the President,” he said.
Valteri: Albanians expect us to put an end to Ilir Meta’s political career
Opposition MP Halit Valteri stated in today’s plenary session that Meta’s career should end.
“Ilir Meta is the political figure who has taken everything from our country. Albania has given everything to Ilir Meta. And Albanians are waiting today for the end of Ilir Meta’s journey. I imagine the next day without a President who puts shame on us. Albanians are waiting today for us to serve them,” said Valteri./p.s./
