PRISTINA, June 8 /ATA/ In Kosovo, there has been confirmed a new case with the South African variant COVID-19. The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo gave the news.
The patient is actually hospitalized at the Infectious Diseases Clinic.
As the patient has already had contacts, there will be investigation of the contacts for eventual identification of new cases.
Such mutations have already been reported in many parts of the world.
The Institute research teams are constantly searching for all possible sources to prevent further spread of cases and possible implications for human health./p.s./
