TIRANA, June 4/ATA/ The Municipality of Tropoja started the cleaning of the territory at the beginning of the tourist season.
Mayor Rexh Byberi gave the news saying that, “The municipality of Tropoja in cooperation with other institutions was involved today in an action to help the process of cleaning the territory, as the duty of every citizen, to promote and protect the living environment and nature in their local area”.
“We are all obliged to make our personal contribution to the continuous respect and practice, as a condition for a clean living environment. This action sends a message to every citizen who should take care of the environment and participate in such initiatives, where preservation and care for the environment is the obligation of every citizen. With this action we send a strong message that we are ready to take care of the environment and treat pollution and pollutants as institutions as well as citizens of this country. We call not to show recklessness towards both nature and the urban environment in which we live”, he appealed.
Tropoja is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the summer season and is preferred mainly by foreign tourists.
