TIRANA, June 3 /ATA/ The processing of over 29 thousand tons of different goods continues at high rates in the port of Durrës.
Durrës Port Authority announced on Thursday that, 5 commercial vessels with 8,117 tons of goods such as glass, scrap, cement, iron, as well as 340 containers are being processed in the port of Durrës.
While, 6 vessels with 21,283 tons of goods such as; steel and cement products are expected to be processed. Also, the “Zeko y” vessel with 3,617 tons of goods is expected to be processed at Ports’ piers.
In the 4-month period, January-April of this year have been processed nearly 1.4 million tons of various goods, recording an increase of 16% compared to the same period a year earlier.
Commercial vessels transporting goods from/to Durrës have so far sailed from/to 67 ports in 24 countries around the world.//a.i/
