Anti-Covid measures and summer season/Klosi: Safety of life is our priority

TIRANA, May 27/ATA/ Minister of Tourism Blendi Klosi said today that the measures taken by the Technical Committee of Experts are acceptable, as COVID-19 is still present.

In a direct link to a television studio, Klosi said that, “The safety of life is of paramount importance for the country and then come the other things.”

According to him, “The relevant authorities will monitor continuation of the Covid situation during these months”.

“In regard to the tourist season, the measures are quite acceptable. What we asked for was fulfilled. What we wanted was to be a safe season. Life safety is the key word of this season; we should have much more control, more attention, all those who operate in hotels, restaurants. It will be the EU policy that will be much more decisive in terms of the number of tourists who will come to Albania. Active nights will be impossible, while the day is 100% normal. We are returning to normalcy this summer, we are still in May, we have June ahead, we will see, not to become negative. If you expect government orders to run away, this cannot happen. Life safety is still our priority”, said Klosi./m.m/j.p/p.s./
