TIRANA, May 25 /ATA/ Director of the Agency for Agriculture and Rural Development Frida Krifca stated that the government supports projects for extension of technology even in agriculture.
According to her, there are already implemented pilot projects to prevent damages on the farms through technology systems.
Krifca stated that Albania has been selected to be one of three European countries that will serve as a hub for development of software and this will bring more investments, employment and knowledge to the country.
The Agency for Rural and Agriculture Development said that during the last years there have been supported about 339 new investments in 145 municipalities through the IPARD program and national support schemes./p.s./
