TIRANA, May 14/ATA/ Inspection teams of the National Food Authority (AKU) continue uninterrupted inspections and monitoring throughout the country in order to ensure food safety.
According to AKU, today have been carried out 164 inspections and monitoring based on the scope of activity of the monthly inspection plan and on the basis of denunciations.
During the official controls in the food business operators, there were extended 23 warning measures, mainly for the renewal of the health booklet as well as the renewal of the microbiological analysis of the water.
Also, at the request of the subject, there was performed the procedure of disposal of 28 tons of food products.
In addition to monitoring entities, inspectors have advised 739 citizens to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
During the monitoring in the subjects, there was observed the use of masks by the employees, as the teams advised the representatives of the subject for maintaining the safety distance during the purchases./k.s/j.p/r.e/p.s./
