TIRANA, April 28/ATA/ Chairman of the National Council of the Democratic Party and former President of the Republic Bujar Nishani made the chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha responsible for the loss of the opposition in the election.
In his reaction, Nishani said that the Democratic Party should be freed from the example of incompetence.
“Dear friends, the election result was a great disappointment and despair for the voters and supporters of the opposition as well as an untapped opportunity for the long-awaited change. The corrupt government of Edi Rama will continue to hold power again, after 8 years of scandals and failures! Today is the moment for the Democratic Party to get rid of the example of incompetence and the model that is destroying it little by little. Today, is the moment for the Democratic Party to be left free to rise to the greatness it deserves as a party of Freedom and Youth,” he said.
He said that the main person responsible for the loss is Lulzim Basha and he should be held responsible, because he is holding the DP hostage.
“Today, the main responsible person of 4 political losses in a row decided to hold the Freedom House hostage in the interest of his personal power. Basha today had to take responsibility for his personal failure of 8 years. Today, Edi Rama is holding Albania hostage and Lulzim Basha is trying to hold the Democratic Party hostage. The Democratic Party is not a man’s personal property. It is the House of Freedom of hundreds of thousands of Albanians.
