TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/- The EU Ambassador to Albania, Luigi Soreca has closely monitored on Sunday the voting process in Elbasan, while emphasizing that, this is an important day for Albania.
In a statement to the media, the EU Ambassador to Albania, Soreca said that, “this is an important day for Albanian citizens who will exercise the right to vote. In this polling station many voters have cast their ballots. Many voters have voted and I have noticed that the new e-voting system is working properly.”
“I call on all the Albanian citizens to go to the polls, to exercise not only the right to vote but also the responsibility they have to vote. In fact, this is an important day for Albania’s path towards EU,” Soreca declared.
EU delegation, member countries and Swiss embassy have deployed 50 teams on the ground to follow the voting and counting process. //a.i/
