TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/ The British Ambassador in Tirana, Duncan Norman, is watching the election process in the city of Durrës where he said that “it is important for international community to see first-hand and monitor the election process here today.”
At a media briefing, he stated that “there are many international observers who are following the elections this time.”
“We as the British Embassy have deployed 8 teams on the ground that are monitoring electoral process in Albania, meanwhile we are supporting through our projects over 600 short-term observers. Through this monitoring we want to make sure that Albanian citizens can and should vote for the party they would really like to vote,” Norman said.
