PM Rama to close election campaign in Vlora

TIRANA, April 23 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama on Friday posted images showing the waterfront promenade, also known as Lungomare, in the southern coastal city of Vlora, where the ruling Socialist Party is holding a closing election campaign as the campaign races to a close.

“The grand finale to take place now. I am here Vlora,” PM Rama said.

Thousands of chairs have been placed along the waterfront promenade, an Albanian government-funded project that has transformed the coastal city of Vlora into one of most popular tourist destination for local and international visitors in recent years.

Earlier on the day, the government head ended the electoral campaign in the central city of Durres, and he has picked the southern coastal city of Vlora for the last campaign meeting before the April 25 general elections in the country.
