TIRANA, April 22 /ATA/- The political leader of the Socialist Party in Elbasan region, Taulant Balla held on Thursday a meeting with the residents of Belsh, in the light of the election campaign for the April 25 elections.
In his remarks, Balla mentioned the serious event that took place in Elbasan a day earlier, which caused the death of Pjerin Xhuvani.
“This is an event staged by the Democratic Party and Ilir Meta, who are ready to kill for power,” Balla stressed.
“The citizens of Belsh, Elbasan and throughout Albania must understand that we need a peaceful democratic electoral process. We must not succumb to provocations. I call on to all socialists, to all honest citizens of this country: Do not succumb to provocations, over the past 30 years, violence has been a feature of Democratic Party which has killed to retain power. Part of this scenario of violence has also become the so-called President of the Republic, Ilir Meta who does not stop at any moment to produce, appeal for scenarios of violence,” Balla added. //a.i/
