TIRANA, April 19 /ATA/-State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi stated on Monday that, the final result of the elections of political parties will be published within 48 hours, while related to the candidates, the publication of the result will take more time, from 6 days to 1 week.
In a televised interview, Celibashi said that, measures have been taken in order to enable citizens get acquainted with the list of candidates and their names, while there will be surveillance cameras in every polling station.
“Improvement is related to the regulatory aspect and the infrastructure. The final result of the electoral subjects will be available within 48 hours, thus the number of mandates for each electoral subject will be determined,” Celibashi said.
“The voting procedure is clearly defined in the Electoral Code and based on this procedure, if someone is going to vote, they will have to go to the polling station themselves. We do not have the voting procedure in Kosovo, where the ballot box can be sent to a house or somewhere else to a voter, who for objective reasons cannot go to the Votting Center,” Celibashi added. //a.i/
