TIRANA, April 14 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama said that in an attempt to unlock the agricultural potential in our country, we intend to exempt from taxes for 5 years all those who make new investments in agro-processing.
During the meeting on Wednesday with residents of Dibra, Rama stressed that today local agricultural production has increased, yet we have the potential to do much more.
“We will exempt from taxes for the first 5 years anyone who invests in agro-processing,” – Prime Minister said.
Here in Dibra, he continued, there is a pool of agro-processors who are famed for their produce as is the apple juice business.
“Well, there are many more opportunities and the opening of this road does not simply open up a market but an endless space for economic development of households, for economic development through work, community development, etc,” Rama said.
