TIRANA, April 14 /ATA/ – With 12 days to go until general election day, a huge contrast is noticed between the electoral campaign activities and meetings held by the governing Socialist Party and the opposition Democratic Party in terms of abiding by the restriction measures designed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted Wednesday two pictures showing two electoral campaign meetings held by the Socialist Party in the north-eastern region of Diber and the Democratic Party in Paskuqan area, Tirana.
At the DP gathering, participants clearly ignore the COVID-19 restrictions, seriously risking the citizens’ health and lives.
On the other hand, the picture showing the SP meeting in Diber, participants are sit in chairs at a considerable distance from each other, rigorously respecting the COVID-19 restrictions.
