TIRANA, April 13 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama said at an electoral meeting with local residents in Administrative Unit No. 1 in Tirana that the future in Albania belongs to those who open a new shop, launch a business and create jobs for themselves and other people.
“Albania belongs to the hard working people, individuals who open new shops, start-ups and create jobs for themselves and others. And we will support this Albania through power of our soul and mind. We will do utmost effort to generate fresh opportunities for Albanians, regardless whether they are Socialists or DP supporters. And we have cut the tax rate to zero for all these people,” the government head said.
“I repeat it every day, zero profit tax and zero VAT rate will be applied to all small entrepreneurs who create jobs for themselves and the others,” Rama added.
The Socialist leader said that Albania is blessed with natural resources, the sea, mountains, rivers, forests, stunning landscape, sun and everything else and Albanians should build their future in their homeland.
“We will press ahead with what we have already launched; make Albania a country visited by such a large number of tourists so that many people invest savings in their own private family homes to transform them into guesthouses in rural areas across the country and earn a lot more than they would be earning if working abroad. This is possible and we can do that,” he said.
