TIRANA, April 13 /ATA/- The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Tuesday that, Albanians are well trained in the process of joining EU and now the majority understands very well that entering Europe in the sense of formalizing the steps does not depend on me or the chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha or anyone else, although we can make promises, swear and fight for it.
“What is up to us is that we must do our homework and whether we have done it or not, there is an instance that certifies it and it is the European Commission. I have said this in every instance, at every round table with European leaders and in every bilateral meeting and this has become a well-known and clear story,” the premier Rama added.
“The European Council has decided to open accession negotiations with Albania. The decision has been formalized. Officially, it has decided to open talks with Albania and North Macedonia. We have to enter the phase when the European Council decides to convene the first intergovernmental conference,” the Prime Minister Rama said. //a.i/
