TIRANA, April 8 /ATA/- Director of the National Agency for Information Society (AKSHI), Mirlinda Karçanaj announced on Thursday that electronic form filling has become one of the most used services by the citizens since May 2020 when its implementation via e-Albania kicked off.
A record number of applications for ID cards and biometric passports
“In 11- month period, about 189 thousand citizens have applied via e-Albania to fill in application form, permanently eliminating long queues at police counters,” Karçanaj said.
“We have saved citizens 21.5 years of waiting time thanks to electronic form filling which lasts less than 2 minutes. e-Albania is today the platform of every citizen, who can to apply online for renewal of expired ID cards and passports,”Karçanaj said.//a.i/
