TIRANA, April 7 /ATSH/ Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is in Përmet, called this morning on the phone the SP candidate in Kukës region Petrit Malaj, who covers Tropoja.
Asked by Prime Minister Rama how the campaign is going, Malaj said that, “I have tried to do what I set out to do, which means to meet and talk face to face with everyone.”
“I have set foot in a few parts of the territory where I meet people who have troubles, but inside them I see that there is hope that in this country together we can do very good things. I always convey the idea that we talked together that we have what to do here and I think we will do many good things,” said Malaj.
Prime Minister Rama underlined that, “We need to strengthen two messages there. For the first time, these are not only the infrastructure, but also concrete examples of what is being done to strengthen the agricultural enterprise there. Those of chestnuts, for example, are showing that there is a lot of room there to make progress in the family economic aspect as well.”
“The medicinal plants that they collect, too,” said Malaj.
“They had them, now they are on the path of empowerment and we will continue to empower them,” Rama said.
Secondly, the Prime Minister emphasized, “this mandate will have a clearer and stronger focus on mountain tourism” ./ j.p /p.s./
