TIRANA, April 5 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that the electoral meetings of the Socialist Party will continue to take place with few people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
During a telephone conversation with Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi and political leader of Korça region, on the way to Pogradec, Prime Minister Rama said that we will not hold large-scale events in any way because it would drive the people to ruin and this would be a great horror.
“The opposition is driving the people to ruin, but what can we do, now? They are completely irresponsible”, – said Rama.
Asked by Prime Minister Rama how the election campaign is going, Peleshi said that, “In every municipality, in every village there is mobilization; there is commitment for the campaign. There are problems. We have chosen to run a little more and have chosen to meet twice and thrice the inhabitants in every neighborhood, in every village. And to push them not to gather in large gatherings, not that we do not have the possibility, but we respect the measures.”
“We are gathering small groups and communicating even more,” Peleshi added.
