TIRANA, April 5 /ATA/ The Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha said during an interview in a television studio that, “The prime minister must be held accountable and give an answer to what he has done during these 8 years because he seems engaged all day long with the candidate for prime minister.”
“He came with promises to create 300 thousand jobs, but the economy is collapsing, unemployment is the main cause of impoverishment of Albanians, declining household incomes. He came with promises of free health care. Health, during the pandemic challenge, showed that it is in its darkest day even compared to the health system of countries comparable to us, with countries like Kosovo or North Macedonia; it is extremely weak due to wrong policies, due to the failures of this government “, said Basha.
Basha stressed that, “It is the obligation of both together, to appear before the citizens and debate; in a democracy there is debate”.
“In my government there will be no cabinet members like there have served in the past, but there will be cabinet members with quality, integrity, professionalism, who will be able to bear the burden of responsibility.” said Basha.
