TIRANA, April 2 /ATA/- Interest rates on one-year T-bills declined in the auction held this week, moving closer to a maximum of 2%.
According to the official data published by the Bank of Albania, weighted average interest rate dropped to 2.04%, from 2.17% in the previous auction.
The decline in interest rates is addressed to the high liquidity in the domestic financial market. In this week’s auction, have been sold treasury bills worth ALL 12.36 billion. //a.i/
