TIRANA, April 1 /ATA/ – By I. Vata/ The Democratic Party (DP) head, Lulzim Basha, had a conversation on Thursday with representatives of well-known families in the area of new Bazaar in the center of Tirana.
In the conversation with Basha, they expressed regret over the dire situation of Tirana and Albania due to poor governance of the last 8 years.
In his speech, Basha said that Tirana is the main engine of the Albanian economy and behind every change in the country.
According to him, in the last 8 years Tirana has suffered a destruction of cultural heritage and has no positive balance. For this, he said, that April 25 is the day of taking on serious commitments to change Tirana and all of Albania.
“In this house, at this cradle of the tradition of autochthonous Tirana families, this cradle of dissidence and resistance and right in the heart of Tirana. Regarding the cultural heritage, we have lost sight of the monuments of civility, culture and tradition of ancient Europeanism that Tirana is proud of and Tirana residents should be proud of that Tirana has increased 5 times in these 30 years of transition, ” said Basha.
