TIRANA, March 31/ATA/- Gross Domestic Product decreased by 3.31% during 2020, compared to 2019, the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) said.
According to INSTAT, in 2020 GDP suffered a decrease of 3.31% compared to 2019.
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the fourth quarter of 2020 increased by 2.99%, compared to the same period of 2019.
After the economic shock associated with Covid-19 pandemic, the international financial institutions forecast a GDP decline of about 7%, while the Albania’s Ministry of Finance and Economy forecast a decline of about 4.5%. //a.i/
