TIRANA, March 29/ATA/- Socialist Party MP Fatmir Xhafaj, the 23rd candidate in the SP list for elections of April 25 in the district of Tirana stated on Monday that, the most important thing is the purpose why he entered the race to secure another parliamentary term.
In his remarks, Xhafaj emphasized that, he would accept the challenge even if he would have been ranked 31st on the SP candidates list.
“I have started a battle and I shall go on to the end. The battle for justice in this country. In the name of this lofty goal, in the name of this cause, I would be ready to accept the challenge even if I would have been ranked 31st on the SP candidates list,” Xhafaj said.
“According to this system, regardless of ranking, there is a list made by the chairmanship, the chairman, and also there is a ranking determined by the votes of the Albanian voters. I am optimistic that I will exceed the required number of votes and I will again be elected a member of the Albanian Parliament,” Xhafaj added. //a.i/
