TIRANA, March 26/ATA/- The Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday that, provision of a large amount of vaccine doses will give us the opportunity to make this tourist season easier.
“With the provision of the significant amounts of COVID-19 vaccine doses, which gives us the opportunity to start intensive vaccination of population, and make this tourist season easier,” the Prime Minister Rama said during a meeting with tour operators in Durrës.
While describing last tourist season as extremely challenging due to the pandemic, the Prime Minister Rama announced that, the vaccination of 500 thousand citizens is expected to be completed by the end of May.
”This year, first, we will ensure that the border with Kosovo to be absolutely open and second, we will make every effort in terms of tourist activity to ease the constraints experienced by all tour operators. And third, we will carry out with great persistence the intensive vaccination process, in order that within June or by the end of May, 500 thousand citizens will get vaccinated,” the Prime Minister Rama said. //a.i/
