TIRANA, March 25/ATA/- The Financial Supervisory Authority (FSA) participated in the virtual meetings of the Supervisory Panels for Austrian insurance groups operating in Albania, organized by the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA).
The meeting focused mainly on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic situation during 2020 on the insurance market, changes in business models and resizing of business continuity plans, as well as the performance of financial indicators of Austrian insurance groups.
For their part, FMA representatives presented the main findings of inspections and analyzes conducted during 2020 on Austrian insurance groups, as well as expectations for 2021. During a special session held with the participation of the authorities of the countries of the region, FSA presented the performance of key development indicators of the business of Austrian insurance groups operating in Albania. //a.i/
