TIRANA, March 21 /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Milva Ekonomi, during a visit to the chicken company “Cocoal ltd” in Maminas, was well acquainted with this serious investment, which has received support from national agricultural schemes to embrace technological developments in a poultry farming, establishing highest standards of animal welfare in the country.
“For 2021, the application with the national schemes starts on March 24,” – Ekonomi says.
“It is a pleasure, said the minister, to be on the” Cocoal “farm, which has been around since 6 years ago and is specialized in production of eggs and chicken meat.”
Hens of Cocoal egg access outdoor areas in Lushnja, such as meadows and they definitely produce organic eggs.
The entrepreneurs of this investment informed the Minister that “in this facility chickens of rustic breed are raised to produce fine quality meat and after finishing the meat production cycle here, they go either to the market to be consumed directly or to slaughterhouses or are given to the inhabitants of the area to improve the breed of backyard flocks in this area.”
“This company should be applauded for its work, because not only has it raised a breed that is resistant to diseases, it is also using smart technology to monitor the amount of food, the vaccines, the humidity and the temperature at the service of the meat quality,” – said Ekonomi.
“I want to thank Ermonela for her uninterrupted research, and I am amazed at her immense knowledge of all EU regulations and how these regulations should be transposed into the Albanian reality,” Ekonomi says.
