TIRANA, March 21 /ATA/-By Maela Marini/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama told an event in Elbasan on Sunday that what the opposition offer Albania is a coalition with Sali (former PM Sali Berisha) and Ilir (President of the Republic) to place justice system under their yoke and overturn everything built through so hard work.
Presenting the candidates for the Socialist Party at April 25 elections in the central district, PM Rama said “opposition has been offered the chance four times and it has wasted all the four, and today they have come together like never before in a post-election coalition.”
“They are under a throat-grabbing contract, while pretending as if entering the elections separately on their own, with the hidden part of the contract stipulating the governing responsibilities Monika Kryemadhi and its frenetic gang would take over, while urging democrats to vote for DP. What can they offer Albanians? They have had all the chances, yet they have demonstrated who they are and what they are capable of doing,” Rama said.
“We are definitely far from being perfect, yet we are setting one more example that we keep making constant efforts to improve further,” he said.
Rama noted that “women and girls on the Socialist Party’s candidates list are a major driving force.”
“On the other hand, what do the offer Albania? A coalition where Sali and Ilir will try to ultimately place justice system under their yoke, overturning everything we have built through so hard work,” Rama said.
