TIRANA, March 15 /ATA/ –By I. Vata/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama stated Monday that the April 25 parliamentary elections in Albania are for people to choose between the future and the past, the progressive tax and a flat tax system, which is the real enemy to the economy and all low-income individuals both in private and public sector.
At a meeting with the Socialist Party’s candidates at next month’s parliamentary election, the government head said the April 25 is the date when people should choose between the Urban Renaissance that should go on and further expand to become a Rural Renaissance programme to transform even the remotest areas across the country, and urban chaos that has always characterized the previous governments of the opposition Democratic Party.
“The April 25 general election is a choice between the new justice and Ilir Meta, who has taken the President’s office and the Constitution hostage, completely transfiguring the head of state’s role as best stipulated by the country’s Constitution,” he stated.
