TIRANA, March 13/ATA/- The fruits and vegetables production and processing industry has increased thanks to the direct support of the Albanian government providing funds for the implementation of new investments, aimed at increasing the agricultural income and benefits.
The Agricultural and Rural Development Agency (ARDA) stated on Saturday that, “in recent years, the fruit and vegetable sector has been supported through the IPARD program and National Support Schemes, where about 339 new investments have been made in physical assets in 145 municipalities of the country, of which 142 start-ups providing 3,118 new jobs.”
“New technology and agricultural infrastructure have been injected to increase the production efficiency, protect the plants and improve manufacturing productivity,” ARDA said. //a.i/
