TIRANA, March 4 /ATA/ The Regulatory Commission reviewed and approved the draft decision “On the approval of the Guide for the organization and administration of the electoral process in the Electoral Administration Zone, with the assistance of the Electoral Administration Zone Commission, for the elections for the Albanian Parliament, dated 25 April 2021”.
The guide aims to help Local Election Commissions’ members for their activity in the administration of the electoral process. The procedures provided in this guide will affect: increasing the professional and administrative level of Local Election Commissions’ members, the solution with professionalism, impartiality, effectiveness by the Local Election Commission commissioners of all problems created during the exercise of duty; good administration of the electoral process and legal implementation of their functional duties, in accordance with the principles and rules established in the Electoral Code and other bylaws of the CEC that are mandatory to be implemented.
Taking into account the holding of elections in a pandemic situation, the instruction emphasizes the strict implementation of anti-Covid measures and protocols approved by state institutions. /j.p/p.s./
