TIRANA, March 1/ATA/ The works on construction of the new Tiranë-Rinas-Durrës railway are due to begin following finalization of procedures with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared details in the social media of the project of the long-awaited railway line by the citizens.
“At last, there will begin the construction of the new Tiranë-Rinas-Durrës railway. It follows finalization of a several year work with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development”, wrote Rama.
The investment value of the new Tiranë-Rinas-Durrës is 90.45 million Euros.
According to the project, the travel time Tiranë-Rinas will be 12 minutes while Tiranë-Durrës will be 22 minutes as the train will move at a speed of 160 km/hr. /m.m/ /a.a/p.s./
