PRISTINA, February 16 /ATA/ In Kosovo, there are currently about 7 thousand active cases of COVID-19.
According to the data provided by the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo since March 13, 2020 until now there have been 64 thousand 519 people who have got infected with the corona virus. 56 thousand and 28 of these have been cured.
However, 1,545 people died as a result of coronavirus infection.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology and private laboratories with the RT-PCR method, there were tested a total of 2,040 people 178 of whom happened to be positive. Within 24 hours there was reported one case of death with SARS CoV-2 positive in the municipality of Pristina (65 years old). The total number of positive cases is 64,519 out of 268,625 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 1,545 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 267 patients have been cured, while the total number of cured to date is 56,028 cases.
