TIRANA, February 10 /ATA/- Residents of the “Kinostudio” area will receive a better water supply thanks to the investment that Tirana Water and Sewerage Enterprise is making these days in the block surrounded by streets “Pjetër Dungu”, “Pjetër Gaçe” and “Agim Progdani”. Mayor Erion Veliaj inspected the works for the new water supply network, which improves water quality and supply schedule by 50%.
Veliaj said that 70% of Tirana has 24 hours of water supply today, while we are working daily with the rest, to have the same amount and quality of water.
“We have made a tangential, which leads the water directly to the area of “Astiri”, which was previously supplied by wells. We are doing the same at “Kinostudio”. These are areas outside Tirana, which still have to receive 24 hours of water. With this investment, three neighborhoods of “Kinostudio” enter a new water regime. We ask the residents for understanding in these 6-7 weeks, until we finish the capillary network”, explained Veliaj.
