TIRANA, February 9/ATA/-In 2019, 17.4% more travel has been registered in Albania compared to 2018. INSTAT reported that, there has been an increase in all types of travel, while business travel in Albania marked the highest growth.
According to INSTAT, in 2019 business travels increased by 4.1%, while vacation travel increased by 34%. It is estimated that about 6.4 million foreign nationals have entered Albania, marking an increase of 8.1% compared to 2018. About 90% of foreign nationals who visited Albania during 2019 were from Europe, marking an increase of 8.3%, compared to a year ago.
The data show that the highest growth in business and personal travel in 2019 was recorded in the regions of Tirana, Korça, Vlora and Durrës. //a.i/
