TIRANA, February 8 /ATA/ Minister of Finance and Economy Anila Denaj stated today that the number of employees at the end of 2020 is higher than at the end of 2019, although the country’s economy suffered two consecutive shocks, the November 26 earthquake and the pandemic caused by the Sars-Cov-2 virus.
During an interpellation in the Assembly, Minister Denaj said that a positive balance was recorded by the number of registered businesses, where at the end of the year we left behind, there are 203 businesses more than in 2019.
Denaj argued that the government made available 26 billion Lek through sovereign guarantees.
“The first focuses was on the salary for employees so as not to fire people, while the second to reorganize the units of each sector in a medium-term spirit of their economic development. We have made available 26 billion Lek”, said Denaj.
Denaj also brought to attention the decision to postpone until June the term of use of the sovereign guarantee II, so that this instrument can be used effectively.
Minister Denaj informed that “fiscalization” has already started, but also some other systems that will serve the good administration./p.s./
