TIRANA, February 5 /ATA/-The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha presented today the DP Youth Program while emphasizing that, “after 8 years filled with broken promises, I introduce the most detailed, realistic, applicable program we have ever had, the program that will change the life of every Albanian.”
In his remarks, Basha said that, “the problem of the outgoing prime minister is not related to the ideas, but the fact that he has already proved that he could not make them a reality for 8 years in a row. He abused the trust of Albanians and he who does not deliver on even a single promise, loses the right to continue with other deception. During the past 8 years, 3 out of 5 young people have been unemployed and during the pandemic youth unemployment increased by 20%.”
“All the Albanian students, 9 out of 10 who come from families with incomes below 64,000 lek per month will benefit full support through 100% funding of bachelor and master fees. The rest, who come from families with incomes over 64,000 lek per month will benefit half-scholarships (50%)
While 5000 scholarships per year will be offered to all young people who have economic difficulties to pursue higher studies. There will be no young people, no daughters and sons of Albanians who will be left behind. I am committed to support the students and offer 10 thousand annual paid internships worth 30,000 ALL for the excellent students. //a.i/
