TIRANA, Jan.29 /ATA/- During 2020, the commercial banks increased investments in securities abroad.
According to the Bank of Albania securities investments expanded by 30% or approximately ALL 32 billion, during the last year.
The Bank of Albania reported today that, this indicator has been progressively increasing from year to year.
Experts say that this indicator confirms the good capitalization of the domestic banking system and the positive performance of deposits and lending, where foreign currency savings accounted for 54% of total deposits and loans in Albanian Lek increased by 2.2%, accounting for 54% of the total. //a.i/
