TIRANA, Jan.27 /ATA/- The value of traded goods (export/ import) during 2020 is estimated at ALL 877.2 billion and almost half of them were transported by sea, the Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) reported on Wednesday.
According to official data, the value of goods traded by sea in 2020 is estimated at 430.6 billion ALL, of which 151.1 billion ALL in exports and 279.5 billion ALL in imports.
According to INSTAT, the volume of goods loaded/unloaded at ports is 4,277 thousand tons, decreasing by 4%, compared to 2019.
Meanwhile, the value of goods traded by road is estimated at ALL 403 billion, of which ALL 115.6 billion in exports and ALL 287.4 billion in imports.
The volume of goods transported by rail is 26,029 thousand tons-kilometer, decreasing by 39.4%, compared to 2019.
Whereas, the volume of goods transported by air is 1,796.8 tons decreasing by 24.3%, compared to the year 2019. //a.i/
