TIRANA, Jan 25 /ATA/ Reconstruction continues day to day on four programmes: individual housing units, reconstruction grants, educational facilities and laying the foundations of apartment buildings combined with access infrastructure of new neighborhoods.
PM Edi Rama shared on Monday images of other families moving into their new, resilient homes built up to the standards after the devastating Nov 26 earthquake.
“Good morning and with the new homes that continue to open their doors one after another for those affected by the earthquake, I wish you a good week,” said Rama.
A fund worth ALL 28 billion has been earmarked in the 2021 budget for post-earthquake reconstruction in our country.
Meanwhile, 1 thousand families have until now moved into their homes within 2020. The work for reconstruction of 4, 500 individual housing units is scheduled to be completed within March, this year. 30 schools out of 158 slated to be built have already completed.
Overall, the Albanian govt. will spend out of the state budget ALL 65 billion during 2020-2022./m.m/sm/
