TIRANA, Jan 25 /ATA/ In local exchange market early this week, the main foreign currencies have gained ground versus domestic currency, Lek, compared to weekend.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the US dollar is exchanged at 101.78 lek or 0.20 lek more than on Sunday. The euro gained ground by 0.14 lek, climbing to the quota of 123.61 lek. The British pound gained ground by 0.42 lek, consolidating the dominant position in the foreign exchange market against the lek, going up to the quota of 139.19 lek.
While the Swiss franc depreciated by 0.11 ALL and is exchanged at 114.75 ALL.
