TIRANA, Jan 23 /ATA/ – Moderate rains have swept across many parts of Albania in the past 24 hours, but all national roads remain open to traffic, the Albanian Road Authority (ARA) said on Saturday.
ARA said that road maintenance teams are on the ground to keep road assets passable and safe in winter conditions.
“Rock and earth debris have fallen on the national road linking Elbasan and Librazhd due to the heavy rains, but they have been removed by the road maintenance company and no traffic problems have been caused,” Road Authority said.
“Traffic flow continues as normally along all roads. Drivers should drive cautiously, reduce speed and respect the road signs,” ARA said in a release.
