TIRANA, January 14/ATA/ Minister of Education, Sports and Youth Evis Kushi underlined the importance of respecting the antiCOVID rules to keep schools open as safe spaces not only for teaching and learning, but also for the social aspect of students of all ages.
“I think that if the rules are respected to the maximum, if everyone wears a mask, if everyone keeps their distance, if everyone washes their hands, the risk that comes from school is lower,” Kushi said in a television interview.
“During the first months of the pandemic, the parents experienced how difficult it was for the children but also for themselves, for the lesson to take place at home. There they saw all the value of the teacher and the work that a teacher does. But, not only in terms of teaching, but also in terms of the social problem that began to appear in all children, at all ages. School, in addition to the part of education, of course has a very important role for the social aspect as children stay with one another, communicate with each other, with teacher; all are very important elements for the formation of students.” stressed Minister Kushi. /a.a/p.s./
