TIRANA, Jan.12 /ATA/- The State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi received today in a meeting the Commissioner for Protection from Discrimination, Robert Gajda.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the common areas of the two institutions, to get acquainted with the work done so far by the CEC regarding the implementation of technology in elections, with external voting of Albanians who have permanent residence outside the territory of the Republic of Albania. , as well as the concrete steps that the CEC will take to facilitate the access to voting for the people with disabilities in the election process and on election day.
They also discussed policies with respect to gender quotas and ways to prevent the use of hate speech by political actors who will participate in the elections of April 25, 2021.//a.i/
