TIRANA, January 8 /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Milva Ekonomi stated today that the situation in all pumping stations of the country is under control and the work continues normally 24 hours a day.
Speaking on television from the Hamallaj pumping station in Durrës, Ekonomi said that, “In cooperation with electricity supplier company OSHEE, it has become possible to have electricity in all pumping stations in the country”.
Informing about the situation created by the rains, Ekonomi said that, “In Durrës, there are no flooded houses, but only water that has come to the surface in two areas, in the Bregu i Lumit and Murqinë”.
“In Durrës, 450-500 hectares of land are damaged. While for Korça and Fier there is still no information on areas covered by water while the situation so far has been under control “, said the minister. /m.m/j.p/r.e/p.s./
