TIRANA, Jan 6 /ATA/ President Osmani dissolved the Seventh Legislature of the Assembly of Kosovo and set February 14 as the date for early parliamentary elections.
Based on the constitutional responsibilities and the Ruling of the Constitutional Court no. KO-95/20, as well as after discussions with the parliamentary parties and the Central Election Commission, the President, Vjosa Osmani, has decided to call snap parliamentary elections and to set February 14, 2021 as the date for holding early parliamentary elections.
Through this decision, the CEC was instructed to take all necessary actions for the organization and holding the elections for the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. The President also issued a Decree on the dissolution of the seventh Legislature of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo.
